ABOUT BARRY B. BROWN

Avid outdoorsman and underwater photographer, Barry Brown has spent the last four years documenting life above and below water in Curacao, Netherlands Antilles. Focusing on the island's coral reefs, he has worked hand-in-hand with several businesses and environmental groups, including SECORE, a marine conservation organization based in the Netherlands. His image of a research submersible was recently featured on the cover of DIVER magazine.
Stemming from his background in art, Barry spent years photographing nature and culture in the Black Hills of South Dakota. Among his favorite subjects were the nation's largest motorcycle rally in Sturgis and tribal powwows of the Lakota Sioux.
Barry, his wife Aimee, and their loyal spotted dog Inca are enjoying an adventurous stay in Curacao. Aimee is a dedicated dolphin trainer and works for
the Seaquarium there. She's Barry's sharp-eyed dive buddy and a master at finding photographic subjects.
The passion these two have for sharing their life and work with others is an inspiration to all who have had the pleasure of meeting them. We are honored to
showcase the beauty, diversity, and intrigue of the underwater world through their eyes. To read their daily blog, visit
